Oh how I LOVE relaxation exercises!!!! I did the relaxation exercise and felt totally comfortable and relaxed after getting done. I have done the guided relaxation in the past and forgot how good you feel when getting done. I hope everyone enjoys the relaxation as much as I did. I really needed that today. This weekend has been non-stop, on the go and rough. I am in the process of making a gift for my son and daughter-in-law for Hayden's 1st birthday. I am putting together a remembrance book and a CD. This brings up a lot of stress for me since I really have not dealt with my grandson's death completely. I need to remember to take time for me and to relax and this class will give me the tools I need to do that.

Hi Tina! I have to admit that exercise was so soothing for me I came out energized and ready to rumble!! :). Tina many of us don't take the proper time to deal with certain things and I do think this class will help you finding techniques on doing so. I wish you all the best!!

Hi Tina :)
ReplyDeleteI think these exercises are something that everyone should incorporate into their everyday life. It is important to remember to take care of yourself, because if you don't, then who will? You have to be strong enough every day to handle 'what life throws at you' and in order to do that, you must take care of yourself to get the strength to do that.
I truly believe everyone has a purpose in this life, even as small as an infant. I think the hardest thing to understand is ‘why’. There is a theory that says before we are put on this earth, we make a contract with each other and in that contract we understand there will be good and bad things we go through. These events are there to teach each other something. We may not understand any of this for years but the point is, it is a lesson from our higher selves. As sad as it is to lose a little one, or anyone in our circle, there is a reason. My advice is to try to send yourself a lot of love, picture bubbles of it swarming over you and this level of energy will emanate to not only yourself, which will help heal you, but to everyone around you and the little person whom is not with you anymore. Also know, crying can be so healing.
I hope this helps.
Lots of love and light to you
Sarah
I can only imagine how difficult it is losing someone that young so close to your family. I'm not to the point of grandkids yet, but I know I'd be absolutely devastated if anything ever happened to one of my kids. I think the book and CD sound like a wonderful gift for your son and his wife. ~hugs~

Hi Tina, sorry I am late posting, but I had "cookie" issues. I am sorry for your loss and am sure he is playing to his hearts content. I am a Nana to two wonderful grandkids, Serena is almost 4 and Riley is 8 months old. I have been blessed to have Serena sleep over ever Friday or Saturday night since she was only 3 weeks old. This is our special time where we have tea parties or watch one of her 3 favorite disney movies: Princes and the Frog, Beauty and the Beast or Tangled. Congrats on almost finishing your BA, what do you plan to do when you graduate? I still have 1 year to go.
